We have worked with different manufactures to find the one with the highest quality to give you an easy installation and good product. USA1 Industries carpet will be cut, sewn, and molded for a perfect fit instead of just having a flat piece of carpet that some Chevy Truck Parts dealers sell. This carpet comes with pre-sewn color coded heel pad and vinyl binding around the exposed edges to prevent fraying and will also come with the dimmer switch grommet. Carpet also includes a high quality jute pad which is an insulation and a sound deadening material with a mold resistant agent that is pre-sewn to the back of the molded carpet. This jute pad is going to help on reducing heat and outside noise to give you great ride with original style equipment.

Material Styles for Chevy Truck Carpet

Difference between 80/20 Loop and Cutpile Between the years 1973 to 1987 there was two different carpet materials that were produced as originals. If you've seen the 1973 or 1974 Chevy Truck then that would have been the 80/20 Loop style carpet. Which if you look close you will actually see the loops in the carpet hence the name. In 1975 they came out with a new carpet style called Cut Pile which is still used in todays Trucks and SUVs. Cut Pile is 100% nylon and is preferred in the market because its excellent abrasion resistance, mildew resistance, and its ability to slow color fade to give you a long lasting cab floor carpet. Also with it being Nylon they manufacture it with a tighter sewing technique to help with wear and tear on the carpet.
